Aiming for Lake Clifton finish
Hello to you all
The “boys” are out running after a very wet windy day yesterday. They finished the day 80kms south of Mandurah (near Australind where we parked for the night) feeling tired and looking forward to a hot shower.
It is now 7.22am and there is not a cloud in the sky. Although the sun is trying to come out it is still very cool. In fact there was ice on the car windscreen and the temperature needle is 1c.
Both David and Brian are feeling some discomfort in their feet and legs but say they are feeling well. We were worried that Brian’s achilles may be a problem as it started niggling him late yesterday. It appears to have settled with rest overnight.
Brian is adjusting to the slower, low gait of David.
Right now I am parked up at the Myalup Roadhouse waiting for the boys to join me. It is so busy here with truckies pulling up for breakfast.
Margaret is back at Australind and will join us later. She will then drive to her daughter’s holiday house at Falcon and park up for the day to rest her leg. We will join her later in the day.

Hi to you both,
Hope you enjoy your last few days out on the open road despite the weather !! It is just nine weeks today that we join you in Oz - so rest up while you can. xxxx
