Look out Danny Green, Wheelbarrow Man has been pumping up at Carnarvon’s PCYC boxing ring for his return 250 km run into Perth Saturday 3rd October.
Seriously, when things were quiet at the Carnarvon PCYC gym David and I had a bit of fun with the camera and here are the results. If you look closer you will see David has had a haircut. So what’s new about that you may ask. While sightseeing out the Blowholes (70kms north of Carnavon) we decided to detour to see the forty plus fishing shanties and in doing so saw a sign (see below) for haircuts from a very mobile hairdresser called Pat from Yanchep.
Pat told us she drives with her caravan to Quobba each June and stays until late September. The 1,070 km drive is no mean feat as she parks just off the beach with no services so she has to bring with her water and gas supplies. Pat does this on her own.
