Just 85kms south of Darwin from Batchelor is the start of the Litchfield National Park. It is a sealed road and within 80kms you can see the Magnetic Termite Mounds, Florence Waterfall, Bluey Rockhole, Tolmer and Wangi Falls. To visit all is a big day, as you want to take time to enjoy the views, sit under the shade while eating lunch and swim in the rock pools.
There are campsites available on the park. The above pictures don’t do the waterfalls justice.
