We are now in Kakadu having spent time in Katherine enjoying beautiful Katherine Gorge at dusk and walking and swimming the National Park run Edith Falls.
The warnings at Katherine to swim at your own risk are now saying DO NOT SWIM here in Kakadu. Our Yellow River tour guide said last night that there will be a complete ban on swimming in this region within five years as the saltwater crocodiles move further upstream into the freshwater.
The information given on the tours has given us a new respect to the work done by the National Parks and Aboriginal Communities of Kakadu.

Hello Gemma and the boys
If we could we would have you all come up here too as the boys would love it. We have just seen the new wave pool here in Darwin. The waves get pretty big and continuous, but with Mum and Dad’s help in the shallows, Oliver and Travis would have a ball.
We have just had a call from Lydia and Nick and their 4 boys to say that they are coming to Perth in December for 3+ weeks. They will be arriving on December 5. So we can have Oliver and Travis over to meet them all and have some fun together.
