Since finishing the Outback Challenge we have been back to Uluru and Kings Canyon to see what we missed. The weather was a lot cooler and cloudy at 10c which made it great weather for walking and no flies! It appears they thrive in the warmer weather.
We are now in Katherine after having spent two days driving 1,500kms. We plan to see the Katherine Gorge and hot springs before heading to Kakadu and then onto Darwin. where it is 33c. For the first time in weeks we have the fan on in the van while only yesterday, we were having to put on the heater!
