Day 14: At Erldunda at 2pm today

Hello everyone

Erldunda is the Roadhouse on the corner of the two highways – Stuart and Lasseter.   By the end of today David will be 20kms north heading to Alice Springs.

David’s  troubled right leg is still giving him grief.

The worst day was Day 9 when coming into Uluru.  The  pain was so bad he seriously thought of stopping at Uluru.

While things are more or less the same, they haven’t gotten any worse and earlier today, David felt an easing of the pain (not due to the painkillers).

David is walking twelve hours a day (up at 4.30am and finishing at near on 7pm) to keep up his daily average of 50+kms per day.   If no other problems crop up, this will mean he will arrive in Alice Springs 3-4pm Monday 18th May.

We won’t be able to access the internet now until we get back into Alice.
