Over the weekend we caught up with Rockhampton running mates Lyn and Denis Williams who are now living in beautiful Buderim surrounded by beautiful trees and lush gardens after having moved there from Rockhampton 18 months ago.
Denis “Chisled” Williams ran regularly with David twenty years ago. So we had plenty to talk about over the four days of our visit. Denis became well known for his run from Gladstone to Gracemere in under 12 hours (120kms).
While in Surfers Paradise we met up with my nephew Mathew Leary and friend Daniel at the Australian Outback Show last Wednesday…”Yeah Ha”
