To the Masters Runners going to Dwellingup this weekend have a great time!
While in Byron Bay we have had flyers made of Dave’s next challenge …The Outback Challenge which is to start on May 1, 2009 where Dave will run 920kms in 21 days.
We are also picking up magnetic signs for the car tomorrow which will help promote the event when we arrive in Surfers Paradise this Saturday.
The caravan park we will be staying at in Surfers Paradise is called Main Beach Tourist Park where we hope to catch up with family and friends.
We feel sad at leaving Byron Bay as we love the beaches, kayaking and the many picturesque walks and runs. We were particularly taken by the red bus (pictured above) which has seating for 26 in the front and bedding in the back (smaller windows).
The ramp David is standing on is actually the take off point for hangliders which is near The Lighthouse (see previous blog). It’s awesome!
David nearly trod on a brown snake today walking up one of those lovely bushy paths from the beach. Yikes!
