After a fabulous few days of chilling out and meeting with friends we have decided to continue fundraising for Prostate and Breast Cancer.
We have renamed the barrow…”THE BARROW OF HOPE” and will be offering our services to Prostate and Breast Cancer for other fundraising activities as we continue our journey north and across the top back to Western Australia in September.
Dave is now starting to relax and today has started back into the gym (Fitness First) at Mona Vale just 5kms from where we are staying.
The good news is that we collected $1400 at the finish on Saturday 10th January and yesterday Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia confirmed $6400 in online donations. We haven’t heard from Breast Cancer Foundation as yet, but expect it will be similiar. Together with our $10,000 plus in roadside donations we are very happy.
