DAVE’S FINAL RUN IN FROM OBSERVATION HILL STARTS AT 8AM
Dave is getting excited and nervous about his big finish this Saturday so we have moved the start time back to 8am.
Local runner Gareth Parker has kindly offered to run the route today and will lead Dave into Manly on Saturday.
Thankfully a lot cooler today which is a great relief for Dave who has been on the road heading into the CBD and Observatory Hill, his start point for Saturday. The pictures above show him setting off from Canterbury.
On Friday Dave will have charity and media obligations to fulfill.
We are now parked up at Manly at a lovely location offered to us by Bert & Nan Rose who have been fantastic in helping us with the final arrangements.

Hi to you both.
Can’t imagine how it must be, knowing your epic journey is at its end. A lot of relief that you’ve done it but must be tinged with a little sadness that it will be over soon – all the planning and excitement. Be sure to enjoy all the attention at the finish, you deserve it all. Mum and Steve send their love also and say CONGRATULATIONS and WELL DONE XX
Love Lydia, Nick, Cameron, William and Daniel xxxx
