Happy New Year everyone! Have a healthy and safe start to 2009
No dramas to report today all is well. Tomorrow we are going to start the big countdown to the finish.
Dave is getting excited but is keeping his head focused on getting the job done.
He will run through Goulburn today and will finish halfway to Marluan by the end of today.
Dave says to tell his Grandchildren in England that he found another snake on the road. This time it was a dead one so he was able to pick it up but is was all soft and gooey.
Pictured above is some of Dave’s fans who come out to greet him along the way!
Attached is a radio interview Dave had earlier today with Peter at ABC Canberra movO17911

Hi Grandad and Nanna Jo,
Today we received a parcel from a funny place called Wagga Wagga (Mum says its Wogga Wogga – but she has funny things happening to her at the moment- her whole tummy moves from side to side).Inside the parcel were some fabulous caps which we like alot and have worn all day. Thank You very much. Shame about the dead snake you found, funny though, as in with the caps was a dead rattle snake. It must have slithered in when you weren’t looking !!
Hope you’ve had a good New Year, it is 9.30pm here and at midnight we are having a few fireworks. We will be thinking of you under the same big sky xx
Lots of love Cameron, William and Daniel ( and baby bump) xx
Hello Cameron William, Daniel and Baby Bump
Glad you liked the caps, can’t understand how a rattle snake got into your parcel though.
Hope it frightened you…..sorry hope it didn’t frightened you all.
Perhaps that is why Baby Bump moved from side to side in Mummy’s tummy.
Hope you had fun with the fireworks.
Love Nanna Jo and Grandadxxxx
