Hi everyone
Late yesterday the car battery died on the Hume Highway near a place called Gunning. It was pretty anxious there for a while thinking we may need a new starter motor, fortunately it wasn’t and our RAC membership covered us and we were on our way in an hour.
Dave is now 40kms west of Goulburn. He is feeling weary after a big 43km day yesterday and the traffic is worrying him. We won’t make Goulburn today but will run into the town about mid morning tomorrow.
I had an incident while driving yesterday that I still can’t believe. While driving, a car on the outside lane (fast lane) moved towards me. Before I knew what was happening because I thought they were going to hit me , a lad hung out of the passenger side window and turned my caravan mirrors so I couldn’t see and then took off. It all happened so fast I didn’t have a chance to take their numberplate because there was a vehicle behind.

Hi Jo, Sounds like yesterday is a day best forgotten, Don’t let wallies worry you though.
I’ve just put ‘The Wheelbarrow Man’ into the search engine and it brought up quite a few bits about Dad, various different newspaper articles and interviews. Well done to you both, keep up the good work xx
P.S, H and H must mean hilly and hot xx
