Radio interview with Riverina ABC (mov01700)
Hello everyone.
We are now 40kms west of Wagga Wagga and are looking forward to running into Wagga Wagga mid-morning tomorrow.
It is already very humid with temperatures of 33c. We have been told it becomes hillier from Collungullie which is 15kms away.
Dave has had a radio interview with the Riverina ABC this morning from the car. You can hear how it went.
Above are pics of Dave relaxing after a hard 41km day yesterday doing his favourite thing, reading the paper. The other shows him after applying sunscreen to his lips which are suffering from the heat. Unfortunately he is running into the sun in the mornings.
On the other side of the picture of the truck is Dave running.

G’Day to you both. We’ve just listened to your interview. Thought it was fab, great how everyone is so supportive. Also how in awe the interviewer sounded of your achivement so far and the task still ahead. Well Done and we look forward to the next installment. Lovely to hear your voice too xx
Just a thought ,why do aussies say Wogga Wogga when its spelt Wagga Wagga XX
Hi Lyds & Nick
We were pleased with the interviewer too. He sounded really interested in Dad’s journey and was able to make it a bit of fun too not what we expected from the usually formal ABC (your BBC equivalent)
Beats me why they say Wagga Wagga. I have become used to how it is said but like you, I would have said it as wagga wagga.
Jo and Dadxx
