Just surfaced from a dark zone

It is only now that we have been able to access the internet so hello to you all.

Dave is out running in 32+ heat with a tail wind.  He is finding it hard today as it is  another 5-10c hotter running on the road.

We expect to finish 15kms out of Hay and plan to go into the town tonight and then come back out to the spot we finished in the morning.

We have calculated that by the time Dave finishes his huge run he will have drunk 600 1.5 litre bottles of Powerade.  Today his will consume double his normal usage.

Because there are not many off road campsites along this stretch we took the advice of truckies last night and traveled 25kms to a place called Maude on the Murrumbidgee River. (pictured above is the view from our caravan site)

Maude is a very small but pretty township of 60 people.  Although it was very quiet last night, owner of the Pub/Post Office, John,  says that it is very popular spot for fishing.
