Dave is, obviously, making extraordinary progress, and at this point is more than two weeks ahead of schedule. We have had a few queries as to where he is likely to be on Christmas Day. We hesitate to make too close a prediction, given the tremendous pressure he is putting on his body (though we do not know how much weight he has lost – let alone his skin fold measurements – other than “a lot“, the fact that his feet have spread from a size 10 shoe to a size 12 should give you some idea!). But at his current rate, he is likely to be on the Sturt Highway, roughly mid way between Narrandera and Wagga Wagga, New South Wales.
So, if you are in their vicinity, and feel like having an athletic Christmas Day (or Christmas Eve or Boxing Day, or … ) we are sure that Dave and Jo will welcome fellow runners to help impart some Christmas spirit!
